Dear friend:

Thank you for inquiring about Zion Zoo Crew Preschool. We are a Christian preschool and God’s love is the foundation of our program. We strive to provide a Christian learning experience and environment for four and five-year old children, and to prepare these children socially and academically for kindergarten.

As with everything else, Covid 19 has delayed our plans and is presenting challenges and changes to reopening the Preschool. Our current plan is to open, Tuesday, October 6, adhering to health and safety guidelines suggested by the CDC and department of health in place at that time.

Our typical week includes a learning and sharing time about a weekly theme, art         and science activities, snacks, a Bible story, show-and-tell, large muscle activities, games, story time and play time. It is during the play time that each child has a     chance to choose the activity of his/her choice. Play is a child’s work, and it is   through play that the young child learns the most. We encourage creativity and    have a variety of educational toys to aid in each child’s learning. Field trips are also included in our curriculum.

Zion Zoo Crew Preschool is a ministry of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and   has been a part of the church ministry for the past thirty-three years. We are a non-profit organization supported by the church and your tuition. The tuition payment for each month is $185. At the time of registration there is a one-time, non-refundable $50 registration fee to cover supply costs and secure your child’s placement in our class.

If you have questions, we encourage you to contact the church office. Visitors are always welcome, so feel free to stop by and visit. We would love to have you become a member of the Zoo Crew.

Sincerely,

Pam Clark, Director                      Sandi Moore, Co-teacher
